Wet Rotor Pumps are pumps in which the medium, that is, the liquid being pumped is used to cool the rotor. The rotor is designed such that the water being pumped surrounds the rotor and provides a cooling effect.The Wet Rotor, thus, does not need any external cooling arrangement such as a fan. This reduces the power consumption as well as the noise.
The Wet Rotor Pumps also require lesser maintenance than ordinary pumps.
